Please note: Below are suggested or sample itineraries of the Northern Safari circuit. They can always be adapted to suite your personal needs and preferences when planning your safari. Serengeti Classic Safari                    10 Days

This is one of our popular safari packages. The package highlights a true African safari, with a mixture of luxury lodges and camps in the northern circuit.

Highlights include Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater and Arusha National Park.

Day 1 – Arrive Arusha (via Nairobi, Kenya or Kilimanjaro International Airport). Meet, greet and safari briefing by our representative and transfer to hotel/lodge for lunch or dinner (depending on arrival).

Day 2 – After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania and is famous for its huge numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 3 – Game drive out of Tarangire with a picnic lunch and stop at Lake Manyara national park. Here, if lucky, you may see the Lake Manyara tree climbing lions. Elephants, hippos, giraffe, buffalo and other plains animals can be spotted at Lake Manyara National Park. Birdlife in Lake Manyara is also impeccable. Dinner and Overnight at Karatu.

Day 4 – We drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch via Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakey’s discovered the remains of Home Erectus, thus bringing a crucial understanding to the study of the evolution of mankind. The Serengeti is world- renowned for one of the most breathtaking events in the animal kingdom – the annual wildebeest migration in which a mass exodus of 1.5 million wildebeest together with 200,000 zebra & gazelles follow a 500-mile route from Tanzania to Kenya and back to Tanzania, culminating in the Southern Serengeti. Dinner and Overnight at Camp/Lodge.

Day 5 & 6 – After a leisure breakfast, embark on a morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Camp/Lodge.

Day 7 – After breakfast, we drive out of Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch and head out to Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive. Visit a local Maasai village en route. Here you will experience life and daily activities of the Maasai people, who will also entertain you with their famous dance. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

Day 8 – We descend into Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive. Dominated by cliffs standing some 600 meters, Ngorongoro crater offers everything from elephant to lion, the near extinct black rhino as well as large herds of zebra and wildebeest. Birdlife in the crate is prolific with flocks of flamingos on the soda lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 9 – After breakfast, we transfer to Arusha city, stopping for lunch and shopping for souvenirs on the way, then head to your lodge/hotel for an afternoon relaxation. Dinner and overnight at lodge/hotel.

Day 10 – Head out to Arusha National park with picnic lunch or walk around Arusha city at your leisure time. Walks or hikes could be arranged as well. Dinner and overnight at lodge/hotel.

Day 11 – Transfer to Kilimanjaro or Nairobi for a flight back home.

 

Tanzania Discovery Safari               8 Days

Highlights include Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti as well as Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater

Day 1 – Arrive Arusha (via Nairobi, Kenya or Kilimanjaro International Airport). Meet, greet and safari briefing by our representative and transfer to hotel/lodge for lunch or dinner (depending on arrival).

Day 2 – Depart Arusha after lunch; we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. Here, if lucky, you may see the Lake Manyara tree climbing lions. Elephants, hippos, giraffe, buffalo and other plains animals can be spotted at Lake Manyara National Park. Birdlife in Lake Manyara is also impeccable. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Ngorongoro Safari                5 Days

Highlights include: Arusha, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater

Day 2 – After breakfast, we head towards Ngorongoro crater for lunch. Descend into Ngorongoro crater for a half day game drive. Tanzania Camping & Walking Safaris                               12 Days

This camping safari is popular for those who are adventurous and love outdoor world and trekking as well as photographic safaris. This tour include a visit to type of safari include a visit to the local Maasai and Hedzabe tribes.

Highlights include: Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater

Day 1 – Arrive Arusha (via Nairobi, Kenya or Kilimanjaro International Airport). Meet, greet and safari briefing by our representative and transfer to hotel/lodge for lunch or dinner (depending on arrival).

Day 2 – After breakfast, we depart to Tarangire national Park. We arrive at campsite for lunch. We spend the afternoon on a guided walk, with a chance of visiting the local tribes. Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania and is famous for its huge numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. Dinner and Overnight at Camp.

Day 3 – After a leisure breakfast, we enter the Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Camp.

Day 4 – After breakfast we head towards Lake Eyasi with picnic lunch. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, we will have the opportunity to meet the extraordinary ‘Hadzabe’ tribe (Hunter- gatherer bushmen). We will visit their homesteads; learn their way of life as well as their hunting techniques. Dinner and Overnight at a camp in Karatu.

Day 5 – Head out towards Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch, descend inside the crater for a half day game drive. Alternatively, we can visit the local Masan village. Here you will experience life and daily activities of the Maasai people, who will also entertain you with their famous dance. Dinner and Overnight at Camp.

Day 6 – Descend into the crater after breakfast for a full day crater tour, with picnic lunch. Dominated by cliffs standing some 600 meters, Ngorongoro crater offers everything from elephant to lion, the near extinct black rhino as well as large herds of zebra and wildebeest. Birdlife in the crate is prolific with flocks of flamingos on the soda lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 9 – Early morning drive and return to the camp for a late breakfast. After breakfast we head for Lake Manyara National Park. We visit Gibbs farm or plantation lodge for lunch, before proceeding to Lake Manyara. Dinner and Overnight at Camp.

Day 10 – After a leisure breakfast, we visit the local market and Mto wa Mbu village. Here we experience the local village setting, meet local people, learn about their history, culture as well as their agricultural practices. Back to lodge/camp for lunch and an afternoon relaxation by the pool. Dinner & Overnight at Camp.

Day 11 – Head out towards Arusha after breakfast, stopping to shop for souvenirs on the way. Dinner and overnight at lodge/hotel.

Day 12 – Transfer to Kilimanjaro or Nairobi for a flight back home

Zanzibar Excursion              5 Days

Day 1 – Arrive at Zanzibar Airport then transfer to hotel in Stone Town.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Resort
Day 2 – After breakfast, take the historical half-day (4-hour) Stone Town Tour or the exotic spice tour.
Late lunch at hotel or local restaurant. Spend a leisurely afternoon by the swimming pool.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Resort.

Day 3&4 – After breakfast, transfer (45 min.) by shuttle bus to the East Coast of Zanzibar. This area is famously known for the finest sandy beach on the on the East Coast of Zanzibar in an area known as Kiwengwa. We arrive at resort for lunch. Afternoon of leisure follows after lunch.
Leisure and activities include snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, dhow trips, etc.
Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 5 – After breakfast or lunch transfer (about 50 minutes) to airport for flight to Arusha, Dar es Salaam or international destination.
