SafariWire Terms and Conditions

SafariWire Inc. is a registered travel company in the state of Massachusetts. The following terms as used in SafariWire booking terms and conditions shall the considered synonymous: tour, trip and or itinerary, all of which refer to the travel arrangements being booked with SafariWire. Additionally, the following terms: client, guest, participant, passenger and traveler all refer to you, as the traveler.

Deposit and Payments:

A minimum non-refundable deposit of $ 500 per person, along with a completed and signed reservation booking form is required in order to confirm your reservation. The remainder of the price of your trip is due 90 days prior to your departure date. Accepted methods of payment include check, money order, wire transfer or credit card. However, credit card payments can ONLY be accepted for deposit only, while the balance of the safari is payable by personal check, money order or wire transfer. All prices are in U.S dollars.

Cancellations:

Cancellations are only effective upon our receipt of written notification, signed by the client. Cancellation received by SafariWire 90 days or more prior to departure are subject to a $ 500 per person cancellation penalty. Cancellations received 89-60 days prior to departure are subject to 30% of the total retail tour rate; 59-30 days prior to departure are subject to 50% of the tour rate. Cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to a cancellation penalty of 100% of the total tour price. Trip cancellation is strongly recommended.

Insurance:

SafariWire strongly recommends travelers to obtain a comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependants and travel companions while on safari. This insurance should include coverage in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellation of safari, medical emergencies and evacuation expenses, theft of loss of baggage, money and goods. SafariWire will not take any responsibility for any costs for losses incurred or suffered by guest or their dependants or travelling companions with regards to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. A travel insurance acceptance form must be completed and returned to SafariWire as a condition of travel. 

Safari Prices include:

Arrival and Departure airport transfer

Accommodation, Meals, Bottled water

Unlimited mileage while on safari

Entrance fees to National parks and other applicable fees and taxes.

Safari Prices does not include:

International Airfare and transport arrangements

Travelers’ insurance, passport & Visa

Shopping at local crafts stores & gift shops

Tipping to driver guide, waiters & porters.

Personal expenses such as beverage, laundry, phone and communication charges (phone, fax & internet access).

Accommodations:

The best accommodations will be provided at hotels, lodges or tents as specified in your safari itinerary and are based on two persons sharing a double room with private bath.

Travel Documentation:

You are responsible for ALL your travel documents and vaccinations, which must be current and correct. SafariWire shall not be responsible for any delay, interruption, or cancellation resulting from participant failure in this regard.

Guest Representation and Consent:

The person making a booking with SafariWire, warrants that he or she has authority to enter a contract on behalf of all other persons included in such a booking. The payment of the deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation on a tour constitutes a consent by all travelers covered by that payment to all provisions of the Terms and Conditions contained herein whether the guest has signed the contract or not.

Baggage:

Baggage and any personal effects are at owners risk throughout the tour. Please note that luggage restrictions on some internal and international flights may apply.

Alteration to tours:

SafariWire reserves the right to alter or modify the itinerary of your safari; in any case the air or ground transportation changes, security matters and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary.

Transportation:

SafariWire reserves the right to employ services of sub-contractors. No vehicle may be driven by a client or a traveler at any time. Land, sea and air travel are subject to operational decisions of carriers and ports, which may result in cancellation, delays or diversions over which SafariWire has no control and for which the company can accept no liability.

Arbitration Agreement:

You and we agree to submit any dispute any dispute that arises in accordance with the Massachusetts Arbitration laws in effect at the time of initiation of arbitration. A volunteer arbitrator will render a decision based upon fairness, not necessarily upon legal principles, but it will be final and binding for both of us. Judgment on the decision may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. This agreement to Arbitrate affects important legal rights. Neither of us will be able to go to course for disputes once we agree to advance to arbitrate.
